Delores & Ken

About Us

Delores Montpetit and her husband  Ken Skuba will be partners on this pilgrimage as they are in life. Delores will facilitate the program portion of the pilgrimage. Ken will be looking after logistics. He will be our tech guy and the liaison between our pilgrims and the people who serve us.

Pilgrimages and retreats have a spirit of unknowing and an element of mystery. Our hope is that all who join us will step into this experience with a beginner’s mind, with the vulnerability of a child and a deep trust that God is up to something wonderful in and through each of us.

We hope to be overcome by grace.

A spirit of openness, curiosity, flexibility and acceptance will serve us all well.

Ken Skuba

Ken  followed his heart instead of his head when writing his thesis for his MBA in 2007. which was entitled “The Three Legged Stool, Creating Balance in your Life.” He has spent many hours researching the benefits of Spiritual tourism/pilgrimages and is looking forward to being a part of this adventure with you.

In 2015 Ken was deeply impacted when he and Delores participated on a Spiritual Riverboat Cruise. The program entitled “How the Mystics See” on Art and Spirituality was given by Father Richard Rohr and Brother Mickey McGrath as they cruised the Rhine river in Germany, France and Switzerland. The experience left him with a renewed desire to live a more contemplative life.

Ken and Delores have been a part of a bi-weekly contemplative church home group for over 17 years. Ken understands group dynamics and the gift of combining art, meditation, Visio Divina, Lectio Divina and spirituality together. He has enjoyed reading many of Richard Rohr’s books and watching his videos as well as many other spiritual writers and teachers.

Ken is the Vice President of Sales for Tuboscope Canada and is looking forward to a change of pace.

Ken and Delores are very grateful for their family of four adult sons, three daughter in laws, as well as a grandson and granddaughter who help to make life an amazing adventure.
